Why do we need protein shakes and how do we select the best option

In my years of profession I have been interacting with many people linked to physical activity, and the subject of supplements always carries the same questions.
- Why Use Protein Supplements?
- What kind of protein should I include in my diet.
- How to differentiate the quality of a protein supplement from another.
I must admit that these have been my questions as well, and how can these products help maintain a good muscle tone, regardless of our age. This is why I decided to attend the training workshop of Mark Macdonald, Fitness Trainer and Ambassador of the ZEN brand, Best Seller Author of the New York Times, which was held in Viña del Mar in April, 2017.
First of all, I learned that the subject of supplements is not exclusive to lovers of physical activity, but for all those who want to maintain at an optimal level their muscles, their metabolism and therefore their weight. It is true that our body constantly changes and cells are damaged, die and are constantly replaced by new ones. WHY DO WE NEED PROTEIN SHAKES?

DOES IT MATTER THE TYPE OF PROTEIN WE INGEST?
The answer is YES, It matters a lot the quality of protein that is ingested. Studies have confirmed and many health professionals agree that we should all consume protein shakes. But unfortunately, this need has allowed low quality products to have taken force in the market. Supplemental shelves in pharmacies as well as in specialty stores, come in different presentations, many with flashy names and their labels contain names difficult to understand and muscular images that distract the consumer. The important thing in deciding which product to consume is to focus on three concepts: the quality of the product, its digestion and its result gives us balance.
We must keep in mind that: * not all types of protein are the same
*you pay for the quality of protein you pay for.
